I know they kept saying November but I thought Ward brought up fighting him next summer in last week's interviews before the Canelo/Khan fight. I thought he was gonna do another tune up in November first.

Ward should win by decision by outboxing him and I doubt he gets hit with anything too legit.
i wonder how he will react to the long body punches kovalev throws... ward should win but i think kovalev is going to make him uncomfortable and might even hurt him.

Aside from power there is nothing Kovalev does that Ward doesn't do better and Ward will be deciding at what range the fight will take place as well.

I think a lot of people are going to be surprised at how strong(psychically not punching power although Ward does have that Floyd "keep you honest power") Ward is going to look in this fight.
They let Ward fukk around and gain 7lbs of muscle breh.

Everyone detracted on Ward for taking so long but his body needed the time to get to 175, and adjust--he could use another tuneup though, and be physically strong. He's gonna push Kov around in there which will put him off balance and then breh just needs to box n repeat. Kovalev only has a mild punchers chance IMO.

They're slow but sneaky, but that shyt won't work on Dre man. KKKov has nice footwork but SOG controls the ring. Kov is gonna get countered hard in there--he's always open to the body when he throws long shots.

kovalev will be touched for sure but ward will also be touched too and kovalev has alot of power.... i think ward is going to fight inside often and clinch.

You saw how he put Barrera down with damn near an arm punch :demonic:

If the dude that fought kkkov before Bhop(i forget his name) could drop him and Pascal could have breh :merchant: from some of his shots nikkas are going to be surprised is all I'm saying :sas2:

In last weeks chat Dan said Roc Nation offered a GB fighter for July, but the other guy wanted a lot more money. I think HBO will let Ward get a fight in the summer, but the money is going to be tight. Ward might have to take less than he usually makes and it probably isn't enough to get a decent name, which is why I don't care who Ward got in the ring with, just get another opponent to work off some rust and another fight getting used to 175.
From what I heard from Ward he has alluded that the Kovalev fight date may be more flexible, Dan keep saying it is supposed to be a hard Nov. 19. So I don't know what the real deal on that is.

Al why dont you get tickets for this porter-thurman fight that will be there next month? some of us on here are going to be in the house for this
Because that's a fight I rather watch on tv. shyt I might prefer to watch this fight on tv.

Being at a live fight is dope(the cards that don't come on tv is always fire). BUT if you want to enjoy the match you can't. Epecially when seats are to close or to far.
