Sure it's a "bubble" it couldn't be that between the TV license fee/ticket sales/adv he's getting paid what he's worth its a false bubble because YOU don't like him.

I don't know what they're average ratings are they bring in, but based on resume alone I can't really call GGG the A-side. Right now he definitely the bigger name of the two among casual fans tho.

But Ward needs this fight more then GGG right now...the KO aspect GGG brings to the ring is the biggest asset to have as draw for a boxer. He can afford to fight a couple of more average dudes and his profile is going to get bigger

Dre can't afford another Paul Smith type fight and Roc Nation knows it. We saw how many years it took Floyd name to ring bells among casual fans, and Floyd was always on his boisterous ish, Dre not even a polarizing type of personality in a divison with nobody of name to really fight.

It's not like RNS is going to let GGG get Cotto when Ward wants the fight so badly. And if Canelo wins, who says he'd fight GGG next?

This is GGG's best chance at a PPV fight in the near future, and he was going to move up to 168 for JCC & Frochy anyway...

In Dan's chat he said with ODH and K2 negotiating for GGG-Lemieux one of the things they want is to make it a PPV. Dan seemed not thrilled about that, which I agree, it won't do a lot of buys...but may generate some extra money to get Lemieux the purse he needs to commit to the fight.
