I did like their evolution up until that exact song. That song is clearly different from previous Outkast and the evolution of their sound. I loved everything before Speakerbox/Love Below. That song was trash to me. Just because it different doesn't mean it's better.

Doesn't stop me from enjoying the music. all women loved yeah in the club. I got some great dances off that song and Hey Ya was just a happy go lucky song. Lifts you up and feels good... I'm not opposed to being happy.

But it wasn't tho'!!! That's what makes this song a damn near masterpiece. It's a tragedy track that lifts you up!
