It was a “pop”-ish track yet Dre still managed to put some soul in it so it had universal appeal. Green Light is another song like that.

Doesn't stop me from enjoying the music. all women loved yeah in the club. I got some great dances off that song and Hey Ya was just a happy go lucky song. Lifts you up and feels good... I'm not opposed to being happy.
