Future was in the same camp as this nikka
Future now has more efficient energy than when he dropped 1000 / Pluto. old and yns fw Future's music

Y'all need to stop overrating this overthinking nicca

Future blew up nearly 20 years after OutKast's first album dropped. Regardless of his age, Future is still relatively new compared to Andre 3000. The issue isn't Andre's age, its inspiration. Age is a factor, because the older we get, things that we were once inspired by, it becomes harder to find that spark or inspiration in. The love for it may still be there, but its harder to get back into it. That rush, that jolt of adrenaline isn't what it was or may be gone completely.

Its like Nas took 6 years off. He wasn't inspired. He had music recorded. There may have been albums. He scrapped them because he wasn't inspired. He dropped Nasir, and its evident that he was uninspired on some of those songs. He didn't find inspiration until he got in the studio with Hit Boy.

Not really the point though. We're just splitting hairs here.

the main point is many artists have released what many considered their best and/or most influential works in the latter portions of their careers.

This has yet to happen in Hip Hop though. Nobody in Hip Hop has dropped what many consider their best or most influential work in the latter portions of their career. There are a handful that have dropped good to great albums in the latter portions, but nothing to where people are willing to put it up there with their best or most influential work.

I think we'll get to that point eventually. It has to be accepted that rappers can drop great work in their later years. The 2020s is proof of that. Someone will make it happen.

The Coli is wild, but that whole sh*t he just said was dumb AF, lol.

Vibes, energy, whatever he wants to call it, is not an age thing. You can hear a song and just listen to it, and decide whether you like it or not. You don’t know how old the artist is. You just like the song. His rationale is that there's an "energy" that young people have that older artists don’t. And that's just bullsh*t.

Either the art is good or it isn't. No true fan is gonna check for the age of someone before they give it credence. When I was a kid, I thought Rakim was like 40 because his content was mad mature to me, lol. Dude was barely out of high school. I didn't care that he seemed older than other rappers. Dude was just dope. This ageism thing is a new thing where we start speaking about how old artists are, rather than how talented or good they are, and that's f*cking up the game for a lot of OG's. And ever since 3000 started feeling washed, he's been pushing this narrative. And as usual, people start trying to flip his stupidity as "wisdom" because he's the one saying it. Nah. He's a fool.
No it really isn't. Any type the sound of rap changes it's always pushed by the youth. When is the last time an older artist dictated or changed the sound of rap?

LOL people talking about Andre needs to admit he has an age complex, breh literally made a song called "Chrinomentrophobia" talking about the fear of time/fear of clocks. "Bu, bu we didn't listen to Idlewild" and the same people be the ones mad about why he doesn't rap/make albums. He raps on that song by the way.

“It’s beginning to look more and more like the ending..”

Been telling the audience how he feels for a long time now.

It’s his opinion and he’s entitled to it.

Idiotic logic

Looks like he doesn’t know how to evolve lyrically, that’s on him
Crazy when his flow and content, on his most recent features, has been A1.

He hasnt fallen off. What it seems to be is that his source of what is interesting seems to be on its reserve.

All in all, it dont seem that he thinks he is unique anymore and it will come out in the music. He alluded to it in another interview where he says if he started rapping it will be about colonoscopy’s and shyt.

I dont think a lot of artist are interesting anyway and they still out here kicking it.

I saw like four examples…now that’s “many” lol

I’m not rollin

Theres obviously more, I just posted those few.

Sure, but the initial argument was that anyone of any genre has never dropped whats considered their Magum Opus in the latter stages of their career.
