Andrade granted release from WWE

Former WWE Superstar Andrade is reportedly able to start taking bookings from other pro wrestling companies.

As noted, WWE announced after last night’s Fastlane pay-per-view that they have come to terms on Andrade’s release, wishing him the best in his future endeavors. There was some speculation on a standard 90-day non-compete clause for Andrade, but now F4Wonline.com reports that there is no non-compete, and Andrade is free to start taking dates immediately.

Andrade requested his release while backstage at the March 8 RAW show. At first WWE officials turned down the request, but he was told earlier on Sunday that they would be releasing him from his contract.

I hope he doesn't go to AEW. They're signing way too many former WWE guys. Concentrate on what you have now. As for Andrade, Impact would be his best bet in the US, maybe ROH.

So according to Meltzer Charles isn't thrilled about the way her man was treated, and now she's acting funny with the company. Since it's Meltzer it's probably just a rumor, but if true then I'm pissed that they didn't fire him sooner. When Charles was gone the women on RAW actually got a chance to shine, and she wasn't even missed by anyone.

It's also not a situation like Sasha where she has more to offer WWE and has more options outside of WWE/wrestling than they have to offer her so she's going to always have the upper hand in negotiations.

It's also not a situation like Sasha where she has more to offer WWE and has more options outside of WWE/wrestling than they have to offer her so she's going to always have the upper hand in negotiations.

She's been on the main roster for under 6 years and is (comically) a 10-time champ and a Women's Tag Champ. All her storylines revolve around either her father or being champ. Obviously they aren't letting her go, but she needs to be off TV for a long time to refresh her character and try to create an interesting storyline that doesn't involve one of those two scenarios.
