Weidman is the LUCKIEST man in the UFC...It was just the right time for him...At the same time, I really don't see how Silva can beat Weidman...It is just a BAD match for Silva...
(1) Silva is old...His reflexes are not that sharp any more...Weidman is stronger than him...
(2) His counter striking style was INEFFICIENT vs Weidman, because Weidman wasn't giving him any space...
(3) Weidman can KNOCK HIM OUT...He proved it TWICE...Silva couldn't even clinch with Weidman, he got knocked down on his ass...
(4) Weidman can take down Silva ANY TIME, and ground and pound him...
For me to be sold on Weidman, I have to see him dominate the way that Silva did...Weidman has to make at least 5 title defences for me to believe that he beat Silva fair and square...

What I am saying is that from the very few rounds they fought, I don't see how Silva could defeat Weidman, but if the second fight had not ended due to injury, who knows what would happen...
Weidman did NOT destroy Silva, but there is a HIGH PROBABILITY that he could have, had the fight not ended in jury..
Think of the Cain vs JDS fights, if Cain had broken his leg early in the second fight, we would never know that JDS first KO of Cain was a fluke...
I believe Weidman can defeat Silva, but it was just a fluke that we didn't get a decisive victory in the second fight...
If I was Silva, I would come back to fight again, because in my mind, that fight would be registered as "bad luck"...

I don't want to see Weidman as champ. I hate everything about that nikka right now, in my eyes, he's a mid tier undeserving fighter, nikka got like 11 fights against nobodies, and fluke fukk ups from Silva. I'd prefer a veteran/star with the belt then him. I want Vitor to have it, just so it's not in his Weidman's hands, anyone but Weidman.
Yes, I'm mad, when I see him it just reminds me of Silva's demise, disgusts me.
