I saw .Paak at the New Oreleans Jazz fest back in april and That Rae Khalil chick was there and they played that OutTheWay song. I never heard it before and its cool that it was on this album.

Malibu is definitely good but Venice is worth a visit too. More of an electronic sound but there are some bangers on there too.

Just as strong, if not stronger than the first one. Really loved them chopping up the theme from “LA Noire”. This is going to make me run back through all the older AP albums

Venice-Malibu-Yes Lawd! was a generational three album run.
Oxnard and Ventura were good albums but a clear step down in quality.
Silk Sonic wasn’t for me glad it brought him such success though.
This album has him back on the right path.
Can’t wait to see what he cooks up next.
