Late pass. My little brother told me to check out the album. So far sounds amazing. Right in my lane. Gonna cop off the strength of the first listens.

I'm addicted :wow:

My favourite track changes every few days. At the beginning of the week it was Put Me Thru and now it's Come Down (that track could carry on for years and I'd never get bored).

It's all so :stylin: worthy :banderas:

I really like this album. I gave it my first listen in the gym and I was hooked just from The Bird. The production on this album is really stellar and Paak's got a good mixture of singing and rapping and not in the cookie cutter OVO sound way.

My favourite tracks so far are The Bird, The Waters (that damn bassline :ohlawd:) and Am I Wrong (the beat switch up :whoo:).

Definitely giving this a 4/5. I've never really listened to Anderson.Paak before outside of his features on Compton but this was money well spent and he's made a fan out of me.

This album is probably the best music I've heard all year. Most of the tracks are stellar, he flips from rapper to singer flawlessly. Dope subject matter, creative grooves. I listen to:

Room in Here
Without you

On fukkin daily. His older work just as good?

I've been listening to his debut Venice on/off over the last day or so. Some really nice tracks on their but the sound isn't as mature or smooth/nice as Malibu. I've not had a complete run through though.

Anyone have any similar artist recommendations? About to listen to this BJ the Chicago Kid album

I would for sure listen to the Link Up & Suede EP, as said above Venice isn't on par with Malibu but you'll for sure find a few tracks to keep in rotation
