Album is fukking dope from what I've listened to thus far.
Just finally got around to it today, haven't listened to it in it's entirety
yet but fukk, it's a banger.

Mind you, I'm right off listening to about half of Hiatus Kaiyote's record and
that album is laced with bangers right up till the last record I listened to (still had
a few to go....)
So this is a STRONG, VERY STRONG album from Mr. Anderson .Paak

I'll probably look at the production credits once I've finished but right now, I'm letting
this shyt ride out.

This deserves as much acclaim as Frank Ocean if not more... This dude Anderson .Paak made a helluva an album
Anderson doesn't have the rainbow coalition support or the world's biggest pop
star throwing her support his way.
So unfortunately for people who generally don't entertain contemporary R&B or only
know of Chris Brown or August Alsina, they'll completely miss out this great piece of work.

After Frank Ocean came out I tossed him in the bushes.

:camby:

What I look like being a straight man listening to another man sing about his "lovers"?

Never even listened to Orange Channel outside of a few songs. Pyramids is dope tho

:ohhh:

The more I think of it - did Anderson give Dre the concept for 'Compton'?

It kinda fits in with his regional theme - his albums being 'Venice' and 'Malibu' on down to the documentary sounding soundbites about the area...:jbhmm:
