This was pretty incredible....from the direction and the visuals, the music, the acting, and how fukking dark it was....Vera's final scenes and her reveal....I was wondering the whole time if I knew who the killer(s) were, as I read the book as a kid, and have seen the 1945 original in the last 6 months or so, I can say that I did....but it didn't matter. It's not so much a mystery/whodunit, as it was a pitch dark psychological thriller, and if you don't know, you can play a long, as the BBC adaptation plays fair with the viewer as far as clues....easily one of the best things on TV last year. BBC is so good.

Agreed. This was really good. I wonder if we'll see an American release. More people need to see this.
