I was talking about the abu simbel carvings. The nose doesn't look that broad and the lips look full but not "stereotypically negro" by any means. Doesn't mean he wasn't black, I think he was, but the wrong points get stressed in these discussions.

Also, that Abu Sembel Ramses monument was built in Nubia(S Egypt and Sudan) but they had to move it because of the dam being built.
the most obvious evidence is the Sphinx really. You don't even need the nose to know that's a black person. You can just look at the front profile and side profile. That shyt look like Jay Electronica.
co-sign. and the first generation of pharoahs came from upper egypt (aka southern egypt/nubia). if you go to upper egypt today, the people still look black even after thousands of years of mixing with outsiders.

this. folks don't understand how much the climate in africa has changed over time. 12,000 years ago, most of africa south of the sahara was covered in dense rain forest. the only places with wide open grasslands for the early hunter gatheres to live was in north africa. then 7,500 years ago the climate changed again and the sahara became a desert and places to the east and west began to open up so people moved there.

compare that nose on Ramses to other famous Africans of today.
I guess Idris Elba and Chiwetel Ejiofor are not black either. Ramses nose looks more broad than either of em.
