Successful immigrants are largely more educated.
The increase in median immigrant income can be correlated with the decrease in illegal immigrants.
So in other words we should just allow highly educated immigrants coming off school visas and h1-b stay while deporting low skill low education illegals

Black kids shouldn't have to work so their family can make their ends meet.
Raising the min wage to living wage would solve this problem for millions of black folks though.

most successful immigrants in america are coming to america legally with some skills or education from their native land. if they end up in a crap min wage job in america (a legal job btw) it's temporary because they have a baseline of skills that will allow them to rise.This is contradictory to the successful immigrant narrative tho

Someone just posted an article about immigrants breaking home owner records so obviously these jobs are stepping stones to someone building wealth

Some are illegal. Some are not. There's plenty of entry level work. But agencies, companies have chosen not to hire black folks.
This is what happens when you're in the underclass in a capitalist country with very little protection for labor.
And those workers aren't doing well nor are they experiencing upword mobility like that.
We're acting like black folks haven't been working these same roles for generations with no upwardobility. Merely working these jobs at the bottom isn't the path for success.
Because wages are down across almost every job in America. If you look at the stats, productivity and profits are at record highs while wages stay stagnant. Blaming low wages on illegal immigrants is ignoring the actual reason wages are low. Workers aren't organizedand WHY are those jobs below living wage?

Illegals don't pay a mulitude of taxes, affecting billions in revenue, and drag down wages of citizen workers who are more deserving of those opportunities.
Entire black labor unions have been gutted.
Who speaks for them?
