Here's the thing with Lupe, and I'ma preface this by stating that I'm a fan, not a huge fan, but his first two albums still get brought out every so often. Hasn't he threatened to retire before? Wasn't there a petition out to get his album out? I don't know, seems like dude's heart ain't in it and if it ain't, well, maybe it's time to try something else. I heard something about him writing a book because literature was his first love, or something? Then go do that. If your heart ain't in it, do something else.

Dude has been in a really dark place. With the recent bashing of the bytch Bad music video, the immense violence in his home city of Chicago, the Chief Keef "beef", and a bunch of other shyt...it's a lot for one dude to take on. For him to even consider retirement shows where his head is at right now....so dude could use a lil pick me up. Yeah, he whines a little too much, and he should ignore some things, but the guy's heart is always in the right place and a huge void will be left when he really does retire. Dude cares so fukking much man....and he's such a ill fukking emcee/artist.

Update with the letter - 954 signatures(shout out to the Miami area code), word is Lupe's mothher and close friends all got hold of it and apparently an extremely popular hip hop site is working on a special project involving it.
