This project, developed in light of Lupe Fiasco announcing his retirement, was launched on Thursday and has amassed hundreds of signatures so far.

You may or may not agree with all the sentiments in the letter, but if you have love and appreciation for the artist, the man, the creativity and the positivity he brings, sign it.

Dude has been in a really dark place. With the recent bashing of the bytch Bad music video, the immense violence in his home city of Chicago, the Chief Keef "beef", and a bunch of other shyt...it's a lot for one dude to take on. For him to even consider retirement shows where his head is at right now....so dude could use a lil pick me up. Yeah, he whines a little too much, and he should ignore some things, but the guy's heart is always in the right place and a huge void will be left when he really does retire. Dude cares so fukking much man....and he's such a ill fukking emcee/artist.
