As noted, WWE NXT Superstar CJ Parker has left the company after being granted his release. The split was amicable as WWE allowed Parker to work WrestleMania 31 Axxess.
Parker was reportedly very frustrated as he had been with WWE for four years and realized he wasn't going to make it to the main roster.
When Parker left, he was apparently told by WWE officials that he would be welcomed back in the future. Parker was said to be well-liked in the company and was saying his goodbyes at the post-WrestleMania party on Sunday night.
Parker is looking to get a job with New Japan Pro Wrestling in hopes of making a name for himself and is focused on continuing his career.
Yea this is what I was sayingI think he means a dude who starts on the indies red hot and has a ton of merch but is really backed secretly by WWE who pay for all his flights, promo classes and send ideas to him to put on his prowrestlingtees shirts lol
I figure someone would expose it quick but you never know
I'm already ready to boo the shyt out of him because white people with dreads are evil.Low key, CJ Parker/Juice Robinson is already working this gimmick. Check this out back when he got a mutual release:
on the Saturday edition of Observer Radio, Meltzer basically confirmed/explained this. Sean Waltman saw Riddle training at the Monster Factory, praised him to HHH, and HHH/Regal told Gabe (Evolve) to sign/develop him. WWE didn't want to directly sign him because he (Riddle) had marijuana violations from UFC and they wanted to have him on a probation period basically, but have him signed by someone they can control (i.e. keep him fron signing with NJPW, ROH, etc)Matt Riddle
