You are paying for the marketing. It doesn't cost that much for the cook and the waitress to be paid. Utilities are meh for big chain that can negotiate rates.

its not always about the digs. dear lord i take my girl to the same japanese steakhouse every valentines day. i know they use 10 dollars worth of food to charge me 120. thats okay. i dont mind paying the markup if im going out to be served. its cool lol

I can't lie IHOP big steak omelette is probably the best value in breakfast. For 15 dollars it's hard to top the dollar for dollar value.

Anyway I like Waffle House more cuz you can see the grill (usually at least).
