I don't really have a dog in this fight, but this tweet is some bullshyt.
First off, just putting games on other platforms isn't getting people into the XBox ecosystem. It's just getting 70% of sales revenue from copies sold on another platform. It's great for finding new ways to generate revenue, but that doesn't necessarily mean much for ecosystem growth. If I don't need an XBox or Gamepass to play Hi-Fi Rush, then I'm not really being rushed to go out and get either.
But I REALLY think people aren't about to let that "But everyone else gets year old scraps" argument fly, considering how much pointing and laughing was being done once Sony established that they were going to regularly port their exclusives to PC once they were at least a year old. It's the same fukking thing, but now all of a sudden it's supposed to be a stroke of genius?
Well yeah that white man uncle Phil did it. He going a level up and putting there games on competitors consoles. Phil a genius.

It was always a joke when xbox diehards were saying console sales does not matter to Microsoft. Of course it matters because lagging in console sales and an afterthought outside of the North America and somewhat the UK is trouble. Satya made the call because he didn't spend billions to only provide games to 25million console players and PC. I think he gave Phil enough time because he had 10 years and put Xbox console in a worse position than Don Mattrick..
