Reality. The Xbox is a dead brand and its' next, "next gen" release will be the last. Xbots know this and are backed into a corner, which is why they've come out swinging in 2024. MS will be out of the hardware business after next gen.

I think MS would be ready to leave the hardware business right now, as in immediately stop manufacturing Series Xs and maybe only sell Series Ss for a couple more years, if either Sony or Nintendo agreed to let GamePass on their console, in all honesty.

This truly has been an amazing year for gaming.

Ironically it's the year that PlayStation games and exclusives have been the weakest they have been in like 7 years.

Nintendo has been killing it with multiple potential 1st party GOTY contenders on 7 year old hardware.
