but that's the thing, there is only so often you can tell somebody no. amy even made a song about how people were telling her to go to rehab and she just didn't give a fukk. you think those people around her wouldn't have preferred to work with a sober person? even if you have no personal feelings for her whatsoever, if you play in her band or manage her or promote her records and concerts, and she doesn't show up to sessions or stumbles drunkenly across the stage and in the end kills herself, she's making life hard for you and fukks up your money.
i woulda caught a kidnap charge. i woulda locked her up in a room and made sure she knew what she was throwing away. its easier said than done, but people have bounced back from worse. and if i was in the band i want my money to keep coming in so i woulda tried to knock some sense into her.

with that said, i know how hard it is to get into someones head. and i know how impossible it is for someone to get into mine...so i see how it went the way it did. luckily my vice is only weed and i can say no to drugs/alcohol with no problem. if i did heroin and drank all the time i'd be dead.

did you ever deal with people with demons and addictions? there isn't really much you can do, there is no way to save somebody who doesn't want to be saved. they are either going to attack you, avoid you, or lie to you if you try to get them away from this shyt

She practised self-harm, had a weed habit and drank heavy way before that chump blake, she shoulda been forced imo. She made a lot money at a young age, i guess her peoples couldnt tell her shiit tho.

She was watching old videos of herself on YouTube on that night she killed herself, a sign of depression, her bodyguard shouldnt have left her alone.

I saw it in the theater earlier this year. As a fan I already knew a lot but the documentary really gives you a look into her life. It made me feel some type of way and stuck with me for a few days.
I would love to own a book of her lyrics. Powerful stuff.

Caught this last night finally - I was meant to go and see it at Glastonbury over the summer, but got our times wrong and turned up just as it was finishing.

Really well put together doc... sad as fukk and I'm left with a hell of a bitter taste in my mouth from her father and husband. Pocket-lining c*nts of the highest order.
