Great documentary. Had me and my girl wondering who cut the onions. shyts sad as fukk brehs and I wasnt even a fan of hers. Her lyrics and her struggle were very real. She really gave 0 fukks about life and its a shame no one was able to get into her head to help her

Yeah that fukkboy was a fukkin leeching vulture. Seeing her transform from a normal (but with mental problems) girl to the shiit she was at the end of her career was shocking.

She was getting a million a show breh, all them people leeching off her when she was clearly sick..and needed help.

Even Mos Def admitted to letting her do drugs in front of him.

Its a shame that greatness comes with such a great price.

yep i think she was with Blake because he was a user and a dikk like her father. I was surprised to see that she'd have her dad by her side like that after all he did to her family

and her mom was just too passive to be of any help to anyone. damn shame.

did you ever deal with people with demons and addictions? there isn't really much you can do, there is no way to save somebody who doesn't want to be saved. they are either going to attack you, avoid you, or lie to you if you try to get them away from this shyt

My mother worked in mental health for years and always told me this, because I used to and many others still feel it's as simple as 'being there' for someone who has problems

yep i'm one of those people. sometimes you need somebody to tell you no. you might lash out but if you give yourself a chance you can get out of it.

im not putting the blame solely on the people around her, but you can tell they didnt try hard enough..and she didnt seem to try at all after awhile

i think getting back with Blake after all that shyt was what really fukked her over.

but that's the thing, there is only so often you can tell somebody no. amy even made a song about how people were telling her to go to rehab and she just didn't give a fukk. you think those people around her wouldn't have preferred to work with a sober person? even if you have no personal feelings for her whatsoever, if you play in her band or manage her or promote her records and concerts, and she doesn't show up to sessions or stumbles drunkenly across the stage and in the end kills herself, she's making life hard for you and fukks up your money.
