Amir Khan: There's too many haters in the UK, that's why I made up my mind to train in America.

pat he really outclassed julio even though he got KD with the left hooks n shyt. Biggest issue w Khan is he thinks hes some elite level fighter when hes really a club thot. When that truth hurts ya ohhhhhhhhhhhh it hits so hard this ninja ducking Devon until hes figured out n then says he deserves the golden ticket?!?!?! Ninja you got prescott, peterson, bradley problems

sorry breh i have to disagree...he banked in enough rounds where its no doubt he won but it was really close against a chinny guy whose best days were at 135...amir got dropped and looked ready to go a couple times..it was not a good win...i got on porter for the same thing when he faced julio except i thought porter lost that fight flat out

UK crowd went ham on him. I've never seen the words Paki/muslim and c*nt put together that often. They were legit enjoying their own countryman getting knocked out.

I just googled his name and Paki, it's amazing but not amazing seeing all the cism out there. I imagine most of that hate is from the UK. In America, to these racist dimwits they're all sand n!ggers and towel heads regardless of what country they may be descended from. Reading up on early skinhead culture before the racist factions kicked in, one could get the feeling in the UK that Pakis were/are hated more than us nig-nogs. Life's a trip.

Amir is no such person, hasn't done anything horrific, has given people no real ammunition to hate him. Despite this, a LOOOOOT of Brits hate him. The racial angle? The "build em up to knock em down" angle? I have no idea. But it's real

racial as well as CULTURAL ....white brits are SUPER NATIONALISTIC especially now with the economy and the further diversification of the population

......and middle eastern Looking athletes no matter how hard they rep the Union Jack

are still seen as DIRTY IMMIGRANTS fukking up the country...I seen this shyt with PRINCE NASEEM............. :snoop:

so it only make sense for him to break ground in America...cause marketing him in England has been so difficult

Khan is a dikkhead at most times but the hate he gets here in the UK 100% has a racist element to it

This country loves losers, Hatton, Bruno - both more popular than the likes of Calzaghe (I am not a fan) and Froch

You'd think when Khan was going through his issues a few years ago they'd take to him, but like a poster said before me, post Prescott, Garcia and Peterson - some of the abuse he got was unbelievable. He is an Olympian that represented his country and some still can't look past the pakistan/muslim thing. I'd even go as far as saying Chisora, at the height of his notoriety wasn't as hated as much as Khan

If Khan was white, with the exact same characteristics he would not cop the same hate he gets over here

Calzaghe wasnt taken to so much because he was a welsh italian, hence why hatton was miles more popular than him. I agree with you about the racist element to khan hate. Chisora wasnt even really hated like that, and got a football stadium sold out (and highest payday) against Haye off the back of his fukkery. If Khan was white he would be to the british public he would be Ricky Hatton levels of huge or bigger if you add in the olympic background. He'd be equivalent to what Pacman is to the Philipinos. :lupe:

Agree

Chisora was definitely hated for a period though

They Haye brawl after the slapping and spitting incident with Vitali and Wlad caused quite a storm, people were calling for him to be expelled FOREVER :mjlol:

I was at Upton Park for the Haye fight, one of the few people that cheered for him before the fight and got A LOT of dirty looks because of it, even then there was a slight racist undertone, not to go off topic but Haye was at fault for that brawl in Munich but I always think he got away with it because he isn't the big bad black brawler that Chisora is. Once Haye stopped him and they squashed it in the ring, there was a sense of 'That boy was taught a lesson and he will be a good n!gga now'
