He's not a big puncher & his defense is leaky. He's going to get caught with something big at some point. I'm not so sure how he reacts after getting caught by Thurman.
the same way he reacted when he fought nikkas like peterson and prov. stay on his feet and etch out the win. lets stop putting keith name in with the big boys until he at least fights a jesse vargas like opponent. hell if the keith that showed up against luis fights even shawn porter he would lose.

and you talking about defense when mentioning keith thurman :mjlol:

I believe the Provo messed up him up & dented his chin. Tim's not the same fighter post Provo. If Thurman hurts him he finishes him IMO. Even with Thurman's leaky defense Tim doesn't have the power to hurt or deter him. I can't be the only that see this either.

What makes Thurman defense leaky?

there is a such thing as moving TOO much or not moving at the right times.

keith got caught multiple times on the way moving out. a better fighter that can actaully cut off the ring and slip punches will exploit that.

bradley is a great come foward fighter. you guys give him a lot of shyt but the only fighter to beat him is PAC. :yeshrug:

keith was better to me when he let punches go with POWER this made him more dangerous. the best defense for keith is a great offense :francis:

Timothy Bradley doesn't fit the definition of "pressure fighter" imo.

Matter of fact, Provodnikov showed him what a pressure fighter looks like.

Bradley comes forward, but he doesn’t really ever apply effective pressure. He just, for a lack of better words, fights stupid and starts swinging for the fences.

Where was his pressure fighting against Pac? Prov? JMM? Chaves? Vargas?

He's not a pressure fighter, he just gets drawn in to fights which limits his ability to be as effective as he COULD be. If he fought everyone like he did JMM, I would be a huge fan. Instead he ends up brawling, but without enough power to make his opponent feel like it's time to move and stop letting Bradley walk him down.

Example of effective pressure fighting from a non-pressure fighter? Lamont Peterson in the 2nd half of Peterson/Garcia.

At times he pulls straight back instead of going out the side door. And he he relies on his legs too much to get himself out of danger.
exactly my point. he is not a technician someone need to sit him down and give it to him straight. his best attribute is his power so he should have a style that compliments that :ehh:

Bradley and Thurman need to actually switch styles. These last couple fights, Bradley has been fighting like Thurman should....and vice versa:mindblown:

Bradley on his toes is much cleaner/effective imo. When he starts allowing himself to be drawn into brawls, that's when his fight starts looking sloppy and he gets caught with stuff he shouldn't.

I don't know why he doesn't just stick to boxing and applying effective pressure in spots...especially with his good body work:snoop:

Again, example of Bradley fukking himself up by abandoning boxing and attempting to brawl/walk you down/become a pressure fighter? Timothy Bradley vs Manny Pacquiao 2:wow:

On his toes he was doing good...but once he started trying to "pressure" Manny, it was over for him on most of our cards and he looked very sloppy:snoop:

There's only three fighters who have mastered that kinda movement this day and age. Me and @krackdagawd had a convo about this...

Rigo

Everyone gets hit. Now it depends on how much they get hit that could determine if they have "leaky" defense. Thurman doesn't get hit enough for me to say he has leaky defense.

Smoke with the random caping of Timmy :russ: Name a fight at 147 where bradley showed effective pressure? I don't see anything in Timmy that makes me think he won't get sent to the bushes or beaten up by Keith..esp not a timmy getting rocked by a lighter puncher than him lol
He just did against Vargas Ruslan was close but that was effective pressure JMM shyt some part of all of his victories. Yea pat but you're consistently wrong about this shyt brah :yeshrug: Never include them 'tangibles

He gets caught unnecessarily because he has some bad habits like I mentioned above. This isn't him becoming a defensive wizard; it's him using basic defensive techniques to avoid taking an unnecessary punch. He likes to admire his work after throwing punches instead of sliding to the side & avoiding any incoming counters as well. Dan Birmingham can fix that though. He has the tools to be a better defensive fighter.
