Not just that. I liked Luke and what he represents
I just felt like he was too tentative... Too "yes sir" type when honestly, that shyt gets you nowhere in reality. When he was locked up, i liked that Luke because thats how i felt at times. Didn't gove a fukk about nothing, had a lot of honor and pride.. But the Only time I really liked Luke is when he was talking to them bytches about getting coffee
I liked him in JJ too.. But other than that they did a lot of preachers son, "I don't wanna hurt anybody" shyt with Luke.
I liked Cottonmouth because i related more to him and Marvel made him relateable honestly. Diamonback was just a nikka with weapons to fight Luke, while Cottonmouth was like a black Fisk. Dude also had loyalty to his fam, honor, a code.. No matter how much he fukked up or how fukked up his people were. It almost felt like he and Luke didn't deserve to be fighting each other.. But because of the situations and circumstances they had to...
But Cottonmouth was that guy to me. I was a lil pissed when he got killed and Alfre became like the main villain... I liked Cottonmouths boldness. She was like a sneaky rat to me. Cottonmouth had no problems tossing a nikka over a fukking building infront of everyone if a nikka fukked with his principles

Diamondback was kinda wack to me. He did have sick lines but I didn't like the character at all. They killed his character completely with that wack ass hammertech suit. Foh with that wackness. And let's not forget that wack fight scene with Cage near the end. Smh.
Yea the fight scenes in this were bad. I mean I know they didn't have much to work with but come up with something a little bit more creative. That hammer tech suit was cringe-worthy. It looked like Jim Brown's suit from Running Man
Diamondback was entertaining at first but then he started irking me with all the corny shyt he was saying and reasoning behind his motives were kind of weak. He was basically jealous of Luke and wanted his spot since he wasn't born a Lucas and his being the b*stard child of a preacher. I mean you already framed the cat and sent him to jail and you still stalking him trying to fukk up his life? He was obsessed throughout the whole thing.

He was the best actor/character on the show to me.
Was disappointed when he was killed. No one quite captured his aura after that.

yup. from the beginning he was my favorite character.
i honestly could give two fukks about luke cage, im more interested in the characters around him. even though half of them are annoying or bad actors
