The real butcher and her minions are supernatural beings (who can probably phase through walls) + they all have torches. They would just burn the trailer down. Either you stay in and burn to death or come out and get the meat deli treatment.

True but I assume Sidney was smart enough to park the production trailer far away enough that its not on the house property so the spirits would leave them alone. Sidney and crew had been there long enough that they weren't bothered by anyone.
