Can I ask why you liked Hotel? It was easier for me to watch during a marathon but I still don't really like it
I mainly liked it because:
1. I liked the dark hotel setting.
2. My favorite character of the whole series James March was on that season. Plus i loved the characters Liv Taylor, the character Gaga was playing, the crackwhore Sarah Paulson was playing and the character Angela Bassett was playing.
3. I'm loved loved loved the selection of music that played throughout the season.
4. One of my favorite scenes of the season was the scene with the kids at school which in my opinion could be its own season with that concept.
5. I like watching Gaga taking the backshots.
6. I kinda like the connection to season 1 and the connection to another season.
7. I thought the idea of a vampirism virus and The Ten Commandments Killer were both good ideas but was badly booked for season unfortunately.
Now i won't act like season 5 Hotel was perfect because I'll be the first one to admit it was full of plot holes and i hated the doctor character and her punk ass son Holden.
Despite all that the concept of American Horror Story is fukkery mixed with horror elements and for me at least the Hotel season resonated with me the most and its the season I watched the most besides Murder House.
