that set the tone all wrong for me from jump, i think i gave it 3 more eps, but it had too much depravity and "shock horror" along with a weak story. i'm mad they fukked it up cuz the setting was so dope.

It's like they've been doing to this to every season though. Somehow they keep missing the mark. I thought Hotel was going to be dark and Roanoke was going to be better, but the opening sequences always wind up being more interesting than the story
Ok so I'm rewatching the episode and I think I noticed something..... the scene where The Cult bust in Sally house to kill her. Notice how when Kai took off his mask and was typing Sally's suicide note on Facebook that in the background Beverly took off her mask as well and smiled in Sally's face like 
. When Sally saw Beverly's face she reacted like 
which makes me think that Sally was set up. I'm thinking Beverly was the one to put the battery in the back of Sally to speak out against Kai and run against him because Beverly knew how Kai would react which is why he was like "

I'd say Roanoke did a better job overall sticking to a story and not diverting to random fukkery so much...before that Coven was probably the strongest story overall, ending was just ass and too happy
I am only on episode 4. This season is crazy good.

I honestly didn’t read that much into it and just assumed she had that reaction because she knows her from the news. But you’re probably right because it’s never really that simple on this show.
