You should pick it back up the episodes 4,5 focus heavy on the Africans gods they really were the best part of this season to me.

I hated this fukker. I hated his face and hated his gapped teeth. Just an annoying, whiny bytch of a character. I also don't like this weak ass chick playing media. She is boring as shyt and barely had lines. fukk that this season belongs to the African Gods. fukk the old, white ones, dead wife (her topless almost made me throw up she looked like a man in drag) and Shadow non acting ass. He has the same expression in every scene.

Yeah Anansi is carrying this season. Shadow is just big and dumb. His face is always in a state of confusion lol.

Oh ok, see I haven't read the book. I was wondering why he always looked so dumbfounded by everything. I mean I get he's hanging with physical gods but still lol. He seen alot of crazy shyt by now

I do have to say that the African "god" version of Anancy from the show is nothing like Louise Bennett's Jamaican "fable" version.

Y’all been merciless killing Shadow with his acting or the way he responds to shyt.

But I’m my opinion, I think he playing or acting his role well as he seems to be the only “straight man” surrounded by a bunch of “caricatures” that ..... I don’t wanna say are over acting, but will say every scene they damn near playing there characters to some extreme as far as how animated they are.

And to me it’s a nice contrast.

If he acted as animated and wild at them.... this show would come off kinda campy like Happy or some shyt. Not saying campy is bad (and definitely not for Happy, but still)

I think of it has Mr.Nancy and Anansi being two mind share one body because it seem like anytime he need use charm and wit he become Mr.Nancy but any time he about to go in on someone hard body like or talk about some real shyt he he become Anansi.
