I understand that was the tactic, I just didn't think it was effective in moving the jury. I think that the testimony that the family gave was very powerful and I don't think the jury forgot about that. I think the prosecutors needed to remind everyone who amber guyger was and what she represents. I don't think they did a good job at displaying that.
I am surprised they didn't say she ate 2 whoppers and had the itis.

No. Some woman, who was a complete stranger, said the same thing after she stabbed my brother in his jaw while he slept in a hospital waiting room, which made the news, putting him very close to where Botham Jean is. He's still wearing a pacemaker behind that, and can't even get any. The last time he tried, his heart went so far out of rhythm that his pacemaker shocked the hell out of him. In other words, she left him where it's too dangerous to even have an orgasm. He also lost his ability to walk without a walker.
But back to the trial. What if Botham Jean, with his religious background, had been one of those young Catholic boys who was molested by one of those priest. Then this happened to him. Anyway, I was waiting for this kind of excuse from Amber Guyger sooner or later, after this verdict.

Court reporter said the jury was extremely emotional during Botham's father's testimony. But were "muted" during Amber's family/friends testimony.
