:lupe: but they have to eventually be deleted right? is there like a 60 day delete period, asking for a friend

no, it's cheap as fukk to store text and they can charge the government a grip if they ever want that info.

if you worried, change your number and hope nobody ever has any reason to look up the old one.

People need to understand the folks like ranger Armstrong is why a lot of us are anti cop. A cop getting on that stand and saying that he believes that no crime was committed is just as harmful and dangerous to us as a racist. This whole trial would have turned out differently if the jury got to hear that. He was protecting a fellow cop instead of doing the right thing. I don't care if you believe what she did was an accident. She entered someone else home. That alone is a crime and then she killed an innocent man who posed no threat to her. I truly hope he never gets another case involving a black person.

Breh....think about this. There's MILLIONS of videos of YouTube. 1080p, 720p.....full HD.....millions of vids nobody will ever watch/see. Think about all the space that takes up wherever tht stuff is stored.

Now think about some text messages. Just mere bytes of information. Point being, they could store hundreds of years of text messages and not be in danger of running out of space. So Snapchat, texts....you delete it, but it's all being stored somewhere beucase it may be needed in a situation like a murder trial.

Not just that but you can compress them and archive the data on to cheaper media. No provider is really worried about running out of space due to text messages.
