Nah breh...

she has to do a minimum of 5yrs.. i suspect 20.

There’s no distinction between murder 1 and 2 in Texas. The judge gets to choose between 5 and 99.

I’m gonna go out on a limb here and say the judge who deemed The Castle Doctrine was a legitimate defense for the jury to consider is going to let this cop off light.

The black judge is the one handing out the sentence right?

I mean... I know she can be compromised :francis: I still dont understand why she let the jury consider the Castle doctrine
Precisely my point. There’s a lot of game theory at play here to prevent a possible riot. Give the black folks a murder charge let her serve 4 years...very delicate situation. I don’t envy the judge at all.

This is what i am thinking she can get 5 years and be out sooner on good behavior. SHE killed the man in cold blood should be life in prison. People are falling for the con of conviction its sentencing that matters.

:ohhh: didn't think about that but you're right

My apologies for doubting this beautiful black judge :wow:

We'll find out in a couple hours, but im still skeptical. Posted in the other thread, but the judge has a lot of leeway in sentencing. 5-99 years.

Did she allow the Castle Doctrine because she was trying to fukk their appeal, or is she covering for a cop like most do? If the sentencing is light - we'll know she was trying to help the cop. If it's a strong sentence, we'll know she tried to trap the appeal.
