I knew this was happening already.

People are also going to show up to work sick because of fear of getting laid off or losing hours when they could not have their job next week.

Whole thing is sad.. blessed I can work from home in my room safe from the shyt.

The comments in this thread show just how much so many of y’all have a hive mind sheep mentality.

All this talk about not bowing down to massa but these people are retarded for striking for their lives and wellbeing as well as their families who they could possibly infect.

They are doing exactly what they should be doing and get the government involved!

They talk like Cac sheep who lap up every ounce right wing propaganda because "the blacks" will benefit a little as well.

Just deaded my Prime membership on the strength of this alone. There are other ways to get good like fukking buying it yourself.

Crazy that you can have to top council at Amazon discussing with the boss how they can smear the name of a breh who was standing up for all of his co-workers. Dude is an organizer yet somehow isn’t “smart”?

fukk these CACs for continually showing their true colors. If this breh has a GoFundMe, folks need to put a few dollars on his books.

I see that Amazon want a those black dollars but let a black employee divert from being a mindless worker (while risking his life) then it’s a problem.

fukk that.

I was just thinking about them lying to us the other day, they alerted everyone that we had one case from a guy on night shift.
 So glad I don’t work in a warehouse anymore.

Who at a warehouse can afford to miss work without paid sick leave and also since they are letting people go because volume is down etc.

People gonna be hiding the fact that they are sick plus warehouse workers be sexing each other. It’s just a whole mess really.

I wish them luck in their quest. I've heard some really disturbing things about working for amazon, but I don't personally know. I do however have a relative that works for them and they do have a policy in which they have waived all attendance infractions as long as you report being out each day on their app.

Of course you don't get paid for it, but they aren't technically forcing their workers to come to work either.

I am curious is if this is a strike or a protest, because to my understanding they aren't union.
Fam so they are just supposed to call out for 2 months until this thing blows over?

Personally I’d tell them I’m going on vacation , find another job or apply for unemployment then come back after the corona thing.

What’s a good amazon alternative

Ebay has been great. Faster shipping times and comparable, sometimes cheaper, prices. I've gone to target and bestbuy as well. Google shopping has been good too.

My boycott has been going much easier than anticipated.

Feels good knowing that I've been easing the burden on Amazon employees while giving a boost to the USPS and brick and mortars as well.
