hulu has old criterion movies if you're into that and i saw they had all the OLD godzilla joints the other night :heh: i never really use it though

amazon never gets new stuff unless its critically panned. like theyre getting all the movies from last sept in the past few weeks that didnt do well. they do get foreign films sooner. good for binge watching shows if you somehow didnt watch when they were on.

never tried prime.

personally i'd leech off someone if you can for both.i'd never pay for either my on demand with my cable murders both and has a lot of the same OLDER flicks

If we just talking about content, it seems like Amazon has more shyt than Netflix. I have both and pretty much everything that's on Netflix I find on Amazon Prime. But Amazon has mad exclusive shyt that's not on Netflix.

Netflix actual streaming service is better to me though.

I agree Netflix streaming is way better seems a lot smoother on my X360 no buffering. Amazon Instant Video streaming buffers a lot more. It has been improving though lately. My internet connection is not the greatest though but Netflix works well on it.

I had all 3 but cancelled Hulu...I'm not paying for any streaming service that has commercials. That's a huge deal breaker for me

Amazon is kinda whack too but they got some original shows coming in the fall, plus that 2 day free shipping :lawd:

Yeah. I just did the amazon trial since they took off 24 from Netflix
shyt is mad wack
I love how once a show ends on Netflix the next episode starts immediately after and they even cut off the intro

For those asking, Amazon DOES work on phones. I watch things on my Android phone with no issues.

By the way, how good is HBO GO? Are you able to go to back seasons of shows like Game of Thrones on there? I am trying to start from season 1

Prime is really just a bonus of the shipping...I have used it a bit more since the got HBO shyt in recently but for the most part is pretty inferior to netflix.

My experience with hulu with the commercials and shyt...i'd rather just download the eps if it's that deep, they have NEW shyt but it was to the point where I thought I could catch up on multiple seasons of a show like netflix and that's not really the case.

If you just want video service fukk with netflicks, prime video is just an added perk at this rate, though I can easily see them making it better and eventually upping the price for it again in the next year or so.

I've got prime and netflix...

I really like prime and have found some real gems, the downside is the layout, it isn''t very streamlined for searching or organized. Granted I only watch it on my laptop..

at the end of the day a decent amount of the content overlaps and a lot of the films they offer are terrible, the directors and staff should have been drowned in lava.

Does anyone have an amazon fire or roku ? If so which is better?

I have apple tv but they don't offer amazon prime on it.
