Only difference between Martin and them is martin got up Center stage and took control of the narrative. Granted the incident happened in 96 and his special that I linked was in 2002. Martin could have and might've put a funny/positive spin on what happened but at the end of the day he didn't let the media continue to say "he's crazy, he's crazy" granted any time a celeb acts up that's what the media does, but most of the entertainers just let their publicist speak out, give a statement and go to treatment and kind of accept and take or try to ignore the bullying from the media, Martin was like fukk that ima address it head on, you not gonna keep talkin about me. Maybe it has something to do with having more money than you could ever spend, power over other peoples lives, everybody around you being subservient, so there are no checks and balances. Men (in the broader sense, like mankind) were not meant to have that kind of power/wealth. I don’t equate Brown and Bynes to the others you mentioned, because those are clear cases of children forced to grow up too fast, and that does shyt to people, you see that same shyt in sex trafficked victims, where they are robbed of their childhood, their innocence, and thrown into the cold world. Honestly, surprised it doesn’t happen more, probably does, the other kids in that situation just end up in obscurity, while the ones you mentioned make more media noise.

These people are searching for fulfillment. You hit a level of success and where does that come from? Especially as an entertainer. I mean a Jeff Bezos is a billionaire focused on running up his high score of billions. In comparison some actor or actress that's likely a millionaire and can have most anything they want also while working a job that probably doesn't feel all that important has to find meaning in life or else they're doing drugs.

I recall her walking away from acting. What is she even doing with her life? What kind of job does a celebrity like her get? Where can she go and be normal working towards a fulfilling goal or having a purpose?

People have a deep need to do something or they'll waste away or crumble to inner demons.

I mean you're right. It's a choice I'm making, I'm believing Martin out of his own mouth vs his publicist and the media and all that. I'm gonna always take one person's word over the word of the masses plenty of which don't know the person and the person don't fukk with them. Unless there's overwhelming evidence like Britney Spears, I'm going to hear out what the individual says. Yea people have breakdowns and people have negative coping skills to combat breaking down, drugs, alcohol. Im liable to believe Martin was high that day. Maybe because he was going through something personal but I don't believe it was Hollywood getting to him and turning out his soul and all that shyt. That'll rock with other people but not Martin. That's just my opinion
