Fuccing up by primarily only eating one meal a day? Well I take that back, some days I might eat some eggs for breakfast. But most days I say fucc it and wait til dinner and even then im still watching my calories. Am I causing more harm than good?

Simple answer is that meal timing largely doesn't matter. That said:

It matters in terms of how it makes you actually feel for workout performance.

It matters if only eating once seems to cause you to binge

As a woman there are so many hormonal issues that it would hard for anyone to give you a good answer even a doctor in some ways.

If it's working and not stressing you, hurting gym performance and you aren't planning on having kids soon try it and see how it treats you.

I wouldn't ever not eat for the sake of sticking to the plan however. If you feel hungry at some point during the day just eat.

its not hurting me working out, and im not planning on having anymore kids ever. It does seem to be working tho. Only problem im used to eating junk and snacking all day so now I be cranky. Drastic changes needed to be made.

I would just see how it goes the next few weeks. Your body will tell you eventually.

Good luck with your goal.

Then as long it's not affecting your workouts or your mood or anything else, and as long as you stay in a calorie deficit, I'd say keep it up :yeshrug:
I think its working cuz I can now see my cat again without having to lift up my stomach. Im down to about 800 calories a day some days less than that.

That seems absurdly low....dangerous even.

...unless you're not really counting EVERYTHING you eat.

nah im keeping it really simple. Most days I eat stirfry vegetables only 25 calories a serving and only a small amount of meat mixed in. Usually baked chicken cut up in there, thats where the majority of my calories come in. But thats why im asking yalls advice. This is my 1st time trying to change my diet ever.

I would seriously consider asking your doctor about this, because everything I've read suggests that a diet that is legitimately around 800 calories a day is dangerously low.

Honestly, it sounds like you are getting more than 800 calories.

Are you using a kitchen scale to measure literally everything you consume?

The point isn't to take in as few calories as possible. The goal should be to remain in a deficit, maybe 300 calories under maintenance, for an extended period of time. Doing so leads to gradual weight loss...which is much healthier than extreme, very low calories diets.

But I don't know you or your body obviously....so ask your doctor before doing anything crazy.

@HHR is on track 800 is low male or female and it sounds like you are really not taking into account macro nutrients at all why are important.

You might feel good now but when you are in pursuit of something your will can override what is best for you.

If that's all you are eating it won't be sustainable for long. Additionally you could do some damage to your body that might not be immediately evident and hard to fix long term.

30 pounds in loss is not easy to achieve in general let alone in a way that looks good to you.
