Am I the only one who thought Bad Boys I and II were overrated?

They see me trolling, they hating.....
At the time the first Bad Boys film came out Martin and Will Smith both had the best/funniest shows on television. Me and my nikkas would often fight over which show was funnier. So when we found out that Martin and Will were teaming up for a movie we were :ooh:

shyt was on some Best of Both worlds shyt. :youngsabo:

Then when the film drops its ur typical generic Abbott and Costello affair, one guy playing the responsible character and the other playing the wild crazy clown.

:aicmon:

I dunno, I'm not sure what I was expecting, I guess in my young naive mind I expected it to be Fresh Prince + Martin = :krs:

I personally think Jackie Chan and Chris Tucker made a far better duo.

I'm in your camp. Bad Boys films are my least favorite films in the buddy cop genre.

They're a good watch but I didn't go nuts over it like most peeps. Bad Boys II kind of irritated me with the fake ass Haitians they used in one of the shoot outs they had. :snoop:

Yes you are, we're still waiting for that Bad Boys III (And anyone saying no one wants to see that are crazy).

And if you're looking too far into it, of course its not going to meet your expectations its a raw action movie with humor.

I never thought that hard about it. I enjoyed the action of both movies. I hope they do make a Bad Boys 3. But in the meantime, I enjoyed the entertainment that the movie provided.

I mean...they are both Michael Bay joints...not rated that highly in the first place.

Both are fun summer films, nothing more and nothing less.

Second one ran too long, shyt just dragged and dragged and dragged...it gets to the end of the movie and I'm like :rudy:, the fukk is up with all this traveling to Cuba and shyt this film should be over by now?

Yup u the only one. I love both of them. Although 1 is better then 2. 2 was way too long. 1 was damn near perfect though and was the funnier out of the 2.

But hell yea im still waiting on 3. And they better hurry the hell up before Will gets to damn old. We all know Martin is just waiting on that phone call. He ain't got nothing else to do.

But i think it's more to do with Michael bay being so damn busy then it is with getting martin and will together. They both said they want to do a 3rd and will said he even has ideas of a script.
