Probably since he had the role of Pennywise The Dancing Clown in IT and that movie scared the sh!t outta me as a child but even when he looks regular, with no make up on or anything, He's just one creepy looking dude!

Its my favorite all time scary story. The book is amazing. Way scarier, although they didn't do a bad job with the movie itself but the book goes into way more detail and its a lot scarier.

I've been saying for years, if they really want to do that story justice on the screen, it should be a TV series, with about 12 to 15 episodes. Each an hour long. To really go into detail and show you what the book is actually like. I doubt it will ever happen tho.
