Because the president doesnt control everything. If you want the president to implement the ideas you like you need to elect senators and representatives who hold the same ideals.
Man really its yall who are fukking everything up. Republicans gonna get even more seats in the house and senate in 2014 because people are completely uneducated about our political process.

You tried to defend your stance on not voting and combat others by alluding to some votes being less than noble because they weren't made by informed decisions, but race, when it reality, that has nothing to do with your vote.
Basically. Just because you live in a perennially red state doesnt mean you shouldnt vote. They look at things like turnout and if we show them that we are a voice to be reckoned with policies will start being made in our favor. Laziness produces some weird logic i swear. Then black people be the first to complain about the government no doing anything for them. @Panther you a cool dude but i know dam well you gonna be in line for them Bred XIs or Bred IVs later this year....you shoulda been in line to vote as well

If you are not very informed politicaly so what.(you should get active but that's another thread) Remember that one person you latched on to as a kid that gave you the inspiration/motivation that you too could be great. For millions of black and brown kids Obama is that person. If you vote only to keep his face in office for those kids then it was well worth your five minutes.

I feel yall on voting for the local measures and the state elections but lets be reality, most the highest voter turnout is for the presidential election, and im pretty sure most votes wont vote for midterm races. And honestly obama done enough imo to earn my vote this time around. I would rather him win instead of cac romney but im not standing in line for barack this time.

But once I thought that this will probably be my last chance to vote for a black man as president while I'm alive.
Also I wanted to vote on some local elections and them bringing liquor to my suburb
So I went ahead and made it happen
Also, I done heard nikkas give about 200 reasons not to vote in the last week and that shyt was making me lightweight sad... Cause I know if Romney wins them same nikkas are gonna be bytching and moaning about him.... We got black Uncle Toms and c00ns legit excited about voting for Romney but we can get nikkas to vote for another black man?
