People are still using the electoral college BS as an excuse not to vote? There's better reasoning that guys. Trust, I'm against the political processes of this country as well, but there are more sophisticated avenues of action that blaming the electoral college and not voting.

Why is it that the two people who didn't vote in this thread are the ones who also served in the armed forces? No diss, that's just strange. You risked your life for money for this country, but not your time for your opinion/vote.

I live in a non swing state... Its not even a question how my state will vote today. So explain to me why i should vote if it honestly wont make a difference at all?

Stop with the excuses.

So you decided to not inform yourself of the candidates in the state you live in now because you plan on moving. But since you said its the senators and representatives who run things, you could have still voted for both of those since they will play a part in creating laws you will also have to abide by in NJ.

Being created equal doesn't mean that everyone turns out equal. There are plenty of idiots in government. You vote to keep them from office so they won't make decisions that will negatively effect your life.

Can't wait four years. Voting is only part of the equation.
This election will directly affect Education, Healthcare, and employment prospects. All things a 23 year old should be very concerned with. You missed out on this one, but it is very important that you get involved as you move into adulthood.

I didn't vote because I did not educate myself properly on the issues. If I did I probably would have voted for Romney but I don't know where he stands on any of the conservative issues because be flip flops back and forth and Obama is too Liberal for my taste. So I did the country a favor by not voting off ignorance and let the educated people make the choice.
