Soul Food is bangin is just from a health standpoint you cant eat all the time. you can eat hearty meals from other cultures and its twice as healthy. But fukk it imma soul food to the end.

My fam looks at me crazy because I don't eat all that. At the same time, they're the ones with the health issues (High blood pressure) from eating every part of the pig..

I'm looking at them like..

its not the part of the pig that causes high blood, its how nikkaz cook that shyt...cant through everything in grease and expect to live long

i don't really eat "soul food" anymore either. occasionally, i'll have some fried chicken, but that's it. haven't had mac and cheese in over a year, no greens, the only potato salad i remember having was with a sandwich i had at a coffee shop, no yams. yeah, it's weird but i'm funny with food sometimes. most of the time, on a day to day basis, all i really care about is not being hungry anymore. i don't really care much about what i eat in terms of taste...
