Am I buggin' in thinking that the Raptors are legit this season?

Cavs have been coasting most of the season. Alot of injuries to start out the first half. People every year underestimate playoff LBJ. Raptors haven't faced it yet. ATL got their dose last year. He's a different player in the playoffs.

So to say theyve been coasting is to say they are better than a 55-58 win team...Which theyre not.
This year they are what theyve been...A team that when plays defense can be tough but overrall not good enough to knock off the Spurs or Warriors for a title and on alot of nights inconsistent enough they could get GOT...

I dont thnk theyve coasted at all,i dont think theyre great and i dont have confidence in there supporting cast much like i didnt in the Cavs teams with Bron pre 2010...

Im not confident Kevin Love will step up and be a man under pressure
Its just easier to get thru the East now then it was back then no Big 3 Celtics or defensive Pistons teams stopping you in 2016...

I can't guarantee them making it past the first round because there's a thing called injuries. How many times do I need to state this before you process it?

You never clarify your statements...Do they need DMC back to make it past the first round or do they need there existing roster healthy IE Lowry ?

Obviously we know they arent going to win if Kyle goes down,but were assuming this team as is when we speak on them...

I always clarify my statements.

First of all I need to see who they play in the first round (I can't automatically say they'll get past the first round without knowing who they'll play), and second of all they need to be healthy (yes, that includes DMC - he's a big factor IMO). Do you really think I made this thread on the premise of them being injured? Why must this be so hard for both of you to understand?

DMC isnt going to be 100 IF he comes back so thats basically a moot point,you'd be basing your judgements on the team as is without him...

Because you're too scared to take a stance fearing you'll be wrong and people will bring that up. Stop covering your bases. If raptors get past the first round injured or not, you'll be upping this thread. If Raptors lose injured, you'll be saying well they were injured.

Depending on the first round matchup, they can still get through the first round without him. But they're going to need him to make a deep playoff run.

Nah, it says a lot about me being reasonable and not making grand statements of who'll make it out of the first round without looking at the whole picture.
