I know plenty of brehs/brehettes think that's a win. I can understand that.
It's an acknowledgement of "terrorism" now what?
But then reality really hits, what does this change?
People already know intrinsically it's terrorism, but do they care? They know it's "bad" to be racist, again do they care?
Will authorities carry out justice for only "certain" kinds of terrorism?
Will they make excuses?
That's the problem. It always has been.
The people actually doing the enforcing and rewriting rules on the fly: choosing when to apply what to what.
Politicians in a vacuum are essentially powerless.
They wouldn't be able to do shyt without the people willing to enforce it.
Politicians can say "do this...do that" but at the end of the day, they can only issue those orders. Their words and orders only have real world impact if the soldiers are willing to carry it out in the first place, in other words do it without regret.
By all means, it's a police state and most people are robots. That's the reality of the world and why this shyt won't stop for a long time.
