you trying to see that 70k I see........... lol @ truck driving being a dead end job but I forgot this is the coli where everyone makes 100k and have executive jobs
Yeah I'm trying. I ain't balling but i def ain't hurting. I was just shocked at the dead end job comment. That was crazy.
What type of engine does your rig have?
Also does the sound of the Jake Brake on your Truck being having you like
Also if you have driven a variety of different trucks with different engines, what's your favorite engine?
Truthfully i ain't even check the engine to see the type. They gave me a 2010 Freightliner Columbia with 400, 000 miles on it in mid August and said when i get to 500k i can switch it out. So i been pusing that bytch since i started. I got 4k more mile to go
Jake brake is my friend. I have my music up so i don't hear but i feel that shyt. shyt saved me the first time i went down Donner's pass in northern Cali and almost killed me the first time i hit black ice. Lucky i was bobtailing tho.
I've driven a few different trucks. The most comfortable truck i driven has been a Volvo. Its also the weakest truck. My shyt right now is a 10 speed and it pull good but nothing matches up to that time i drove a Freightliner Coronado for a month. The wheel base is big as shyt and makes everything difficult but the 13 speed be eating up mountains so easy.
Haha I know right. And shyt some drivers make close to 100k a year, especially if the OTR all over the country like R.O. is.
It's driver who be getting that much and don't let a natural disaster hit. I spent 9 days in New Jersey working with FEMA. Talked to a guy who said when Katrina hit he made 130k in 9 months before taxes. I don't plan on sticking to this OTR shyt for long. I'm gonna finish my year and get a local. I'm straight.
