I never got the impression that Unohara was anything but a strong Captain. Definitely not the previous Kenpachi. I’d have to go reread the manga, but bankais are basically another as asspull deus ex machina as well. shyt now that I’m typing this Genryuusei, vice captain was just fodder as well.
I ain’t defending brehI’m just saying once you create a world breaker character you story is gonna go to shyt. It’s why American comics are ass right now.
Ill even defend Bankai's because they were like a puzzle. Most of them were hacked in a way that they were still beatable if you knew the rules around them, key word being MOST. That last dude Bach, with the "I know every possible future" power set was some major bullshyt though. Him and Aizen were the most hacked, but at least Aizen was cool. This dude All For One is the worst.
