The villain is so damn overpowered it has made me lose interest in the story. Speaking of which, it seems like at some point the author decided he had enough to trying to tell a story and got into a rush to end things as fast as possible, hence the absurd power jumps in Deku and the villain overnight.

Assuming you’re talking about the latest spoilers. A manga like this you gotta assume the power creep was gonna happen quick, and the story always had a short shelf life.

My issue is introducing random new characters with no Build up pacing and not mentioning them before

I get your point but this is a problem with all Shouen Manga, they can’t pull off the end game, or only add characters as a plot device.
Bleach = Retsu, half of the Gotei
Naruto = Danzo, Killer Bee, the entire Akatsuki
One Piece = Any devil fruit, but not as bad.

I didn't really have an issue with Nagant

there's another hero almost as strong as All Might with q game breaking quirk who idolized them and she only gets introduced to weaken Shigaraki?
That's bad writing
Retsu was feared throughout the series, they just never explained why until the end. It's actually one of the better progressions for the series.

Oda is a beast with foreshadowing though and for the most you can understand whats happening, and the powers that come with the devil fruits dont seem out of the ordinary. Akainu is a magma man, sure we dont know the full extent of what he can do with it now, but we know its going to deal with magma. There is a lot of speculation around Blackbeard and how he can hold 2-3 devil fruits, but its a cool mystery and we understand its going to be 2-3 powers.
This dude, All For One, he pulls powers out his ass. We have no clue what this guy can or cant do, it seems like he has a move for everything. The writer could think of a power tomorrow, and include it in his power set at will. There is no tension with how the main character will overcome him because we dont know what all he can do.
This last chapter is where i just went

I never got the impression that Unohara was anything but a strong Captain. Definitely not the previous Kenpachi. I’d have to go reread the manga, but bankais are basically another as asspull deus ex machina as well. shyt now that I’m typing this Genryuusei, vice captain was just fodder as well.
