Sosa took up boxing at 21? :whoo:

Dude looks game as fukk.

For the older Heads....

Back in the days did HBO mention DLH or Roy in every telecast like they do now with 97G??

Nah but I think that's mainly becuz they had a bigger pool of talent to talk about back then. Roy, ODH, Prince, Lennox, Vitali, Wlad, and Floyd. That's a very dynamic group of fighters.

Don't get me wrong, I think the talent is there at HBO but alot of those dudes arent nearly as flamboyant as GGG so they don't demand the attention they think he does. They need this GGG/Canelo fight more than they need Manny to come back.

Just finished Ortiz Jennings. Whoa. I expected Ortiz to win. But jennings is tough dude. And he was catching ortiz with those rights, but damn that uppercut was bodacious that sent Jennings down for the first time. Who's next for Ortiz? I know Deontay isnt jumping for that one.

How about Ortiz vs Anthony Joshua?

Jennings is still a top 10/tier heavyweight IMHO...

He needs a soft touch right now. Dude has been in 3 straight rough and tumble fights and has lost two of them. He doesn't strike me as a guy that would have confidence problems. I just want to see him win.

That Jennings/Ortiz fight when exactly how I feared it would. Really don't think that strategy of taking the fight inside to Ortiz was a smart one. Ortiz may struggle a bit on the inside but that deficiency could only really be capitalized on by someone who hits a lot harder that Jennings does.

Hopefully he doesn't let this loss mess his head up and comes back strong. Dude deserves a easy touch in his next fight to get his comfort level back after the KO too. Crazy to think that Jennings has been fighting a steady better caliber of fighter than the hype job who is holding the Green belt.

I don't see Eddie Hearn making that fight any time soon plus I don't think that is the type of fight Joshua should be looking for right now.
Dudes don't seem to realize that Joshua has only been a pro since October 2013.
He just took his first step up fight against Whyte but in boxing terms he is still a baby. Its not like he has spent 7 years fighting a steady string of bingo hall level fighters like some guys whose name I won't mention.:sas2:

ortiz just too powerful

jennings was putting work in best he could but ortiz power shots too much to handle

the axeman getting a draw was bs. he won that. he fought him close up too much. but sosa didn't land anything too serious at any point while axeman had him hurt a few times.

That Wlad win looking a little funny now :mjpls:Good knockout that's how you can throw an uppercut.
in wlad defense he only lost two rounds against Jennings. :yeshrug: (i think jennings won 3 against ortiz)

sure he didnt knock him out but the nikka is 39 :SOGvictim:

I wouldn't want that fight until later on next year if both can hold onto their belts
