Whole-ass thread about an alleged sexual assault that happened 7 years ago with NO PROOF, yet this guy gets caught off a random DNA test for crimes committed 15 years ago.
The sexual assaults aren't alleged, they happened. There are probably police reports, rape kits, and all! And I think the proof just might be his dna matching that in the rape kits? I don't know though, I'm not a lawyer. What was your point gonna be?

But how would the cops get your dna from something like ancestry.com? Isnt that illegal? Wtf
It’s not illegal and the way DNA works it doesn’t even have to be you. A 3rd cousin you never met uploads their dna and the cops get a match on a percentage of DNA and they can then use family records to trace it back to you.

Wait, what? I dont understand whats going on here. How did they link him to the dna from the crimes?
He left his DNA at the crime scene. 15 years later his aunt Getrude and his uncle in law John gave each other 23andme DNA tests as anniversary gifts. Now their nephew is about to be tossing salads.

a statement obtained by CBS Boston, Bonavolonta said: "To be crystal clear, any crime we attempt to solve through this process must be based upon a final comparison between the crime scene DNA and the DNA from the suspect and we only get what any other customer using publicly accessible genealogical service would receive."

There's a whole other thread where some dude smacked a doctor during a meeting/conference because 7 years ago, his wife told him she was 'allegedly' assaulted by that doctor. It wasn't reported, there was no 'kit', there was no DNA, there was no evidence at all. Still, cats were in there saying dude was right to smack him without ANY evidence and wasn't even married to her anymore.

Typical coli simps advocating an unjustified assault charge.

I can't think of two more disparate situations. :dahell:A husband upset his wife said a guy assaulted her, and slapping him vs... ALL OF THIS.

Apples to hand grenades, maybe? I hope that thread didn't upset you so much that you became a rape apologist.
