All things considered, Shinsuke Nakamura hasn't had such a bad run in the WWE

he seems happy
well paid
won the Royal Rumble
has main evented Wrestlemania
over with the crowd
has had numerous long title reigns

but still seems like he never got the run he deserved or lived up to his full potential
in alot of his title runs he was the after thought like with Boggs now or when he was with Ceasaro & Sammy

Accomplishing everything but the title and being on tv consistently for years.... especially with a rumble win? Yeah that's a good run...
if you say so. But if thats the case...i wonder (again from the viewers perspective) why the majority of fans shytting on Bianca Belairs "run" is different.

His whole WWE run is literally :manny:

Like it’s not as dope as initially imagined, you know it could’ve been better…but it also could’ve been a Helluva lot worse.

He knows the system, he’s going through the motions, getting his pay and somewhat of a push and gimmick in the process. His shyt is the epitome of “It is what it is” :yeshrug:

There still hasn't been a Japanese born male WWE world champ.

It should have been him. :beli:

Breh he had all the makings of a champion only to do the "speaka English" balls punching gimmick :francis:. Like breh, you got the king at your kingdom only to treat him like a jester:picard:

Peaked in the nxt debut. Match and entrance is still untouchable. I'm glad he's been able to rest and cake up the last half decade. Need him healthy for his grumpy puro run in his late 40s

“I'm going to tell you something right now that you will absolutely not agree with, but I've been a wrestling fan my whole life and I will live and die by this. It's hard enough, believe me, I write this shyt, it is hard enough to get somebody over. You will never ever, ever, ever, ever see the Japanese wrestlers over in American mainstream wrestling. I'm an American. If I'm watching wrestling here in America, I don't give a shyt about a Japanese guy. I'm from America, and that's what I want to see."

-Vince Russo

They won’t say it publicly, but that’s probably how most people in wrestling feel :manny:

I think this generation is different. There’s a much larger appreciation for Japanese media, brehs taking trips to Japan and the whole 9. The definitely missed the window on Nakamura but he was the one. He should have been protected in the same way Lesnar was and is
