Timberlake is actually decent...."In time" was better than alot of movies that came out last year

BTW I just read on Cages wikipedia that his uncle is Francis Ford Coppola...No fukking wonder this dude has been around for so long despite being awful

Like, there was a huge influx of awful American actors a decade ago, almost all of whom seemed to make up the cast of Pearl Harbor. At least Cage has personality, a lot of the newer actors can't act and are boring as fukk.

I think hes a great at playing certain types of characters. Any maniacal/neurotic character with depression issues i think he does well playing. Dont disrespect nick bruh.when you take longevity into consideration, he has to be? I mean the dude has an Oscar! He still gets semi big roles (kick ass) and has actually starred in some great films (adaptation, lord of war, leaving las vegas) but I'll be damned if he wasn't awful in all of them.
I was watching matchstick men last night and although i love the movie, this dude was fukkin terrible. there were a couple scenes where you could tell Sam Rockwell was probably thinking "how in the fukk am I a co star to this guy"

I already mentioned matchstick men AND adaptation. his performances weren't what made the films good. especially not in adaptation. that's just great writing.
on the same merit, there has been great performance in bad movies. think of meryl streep in iron lady.

He's not the worst. I do find that nowadays he kinda doesn't fit any roles. Not sure if anyone understands, but he just seems out of place no matter how he's casted
I'd probably hate Nick Cage as well if it wasn't for Face/Off, Con Air and the Bad Lieutenant remake.
He has just become one of these desperate actors who picks awful role after awful role chasing cheques and relevance.
