I ran in HS and college, I run professionally now. My best times are 10.10 in the 100m 20.56 in the 200m and 47.16 in the 400m. I ran in the olypmic trials this year iv been injured tho. Idk if I would have made the team if I was healthy but I think I could have gotten close.
200: 22.10
long jump 23' 4
triple jump 45' xx
high jump 6'4
i do believe my dude about his 200 time regardless of his 100
i have seen many people have 200 times that they werent able to explain with their 100 times.
one thing i learned about 200 when i ran it was even though its a sprint. there is something a little different about it and im not quit sure what it is. seems to be a little bit more about strength than outright speed
but damn i miss those meets after you were done doing your thing it was just a big social event broads all over. got domed up in a locker room once the good ole days. so much harder to hook up with a broad now
All high school junior times (was injured my senior year )
100m: 10.70
200m: 21.80
400m: 51.50 (split on the 4x400)
Long Jump: 22-8
I also triple jumped and tried 400 hurdles but I don't remember the results.
Traveling to nationals and the girls during summer track meets .
Idk if I would've made it to the Olympics. I just know I would've shown out my senior year. Probably now too but our college only has a women's track team. I'm so sore.
I don't remember my times but they aren't even close. I'd be 5 to 6 seconds behind the last place finisher for the 100, 200 and 400.State your event, your fastest time and where you would place in this Olympics
400 - 46.8 would finish 6th in each heat LOL
200 - 21.23 prolly wouldnt qualify
100 - 11.2 definitely wouldnt make the field
Wait, you are saying you ran a 10.7 100 and 21.8 200 but couldnt break 50 in the 400? My niqqua what kinda stamina you got?
The 100 and 200 are just about technique. You don't really need much stamina lol. People can shout power, strength, and foot speed all they want. It's that but MOSTLY knowing mechanics and phases. I wasn't any bigger than 140lbs, technique was the thing that I HAD to focus on. It's what I got all my props on.
I never ran the 400m except for relays though. I hardly ran 400m at practice after conditioning in the fall/early spring. My race strategy sucked though: 80%-100m, about 60% or 70% to maintain and gradually build - 200m-300m, then all out like the last 100m. I never had a strong understanding that you can't make time up. I held back and didn't trust my body.
